Papercut #1: Cohort

Posted on Dec 21, 2011 by Chung-hong Chan

Oh, wait!

1. a group of people who share a characteristic, usually age
2. a group of people who support a particular person, usually a leader

The cultural difference between American parents and Chinese parents in the perceptions of behavioral problems might be a reason for lower accuracy in the behavior subscore in the current Hong Kong Chinese cohort.

A defined population group followed prospectively in an epidemiological study.
